Academy Of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS) ogłosiła listę nominacji do siódmej już edycji Interactive Achievement Awards – odpowiednika Oskarów dla branży elektronicznej rozrywki.
Academy Of Interactive Arts and Sciences skupia czołowych twórców gier komputerowych, którzy już po raz siódmy będą wybierali najlepsze produkty - tym razem roku 2003. Nagrody będą przyznawane w 36 kategoriach, a zwycięzców poznamy 2 marca podczas uroczystej ceremonii, która odbędzie się w Palms Casino Resort w Las Vegas.
Najwięcej nominacji otrzymały tytuły wydane przez Electronic Arts (29), Ubisoft (23) i Sony Computer Entertainment America (21). W tym roku najczęściej nominowano gry: Call of Duty, Command & Conquer: Generals, Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time oraz Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
